Who we are
We are a family run business based in the village of Silverbridge which is 10 miles from the city of Newry. Our offices and store are located at the edge of the picturesque Ring of Gullion.
Nuri was founded by Kevin Reynolds in 1976. Kevin who taught art in the Abbey Grammar school had a keen interest in developing hurling. He created the first synthetic hurley and introduced the durable polyurethane material to the game when he invented the All-Weather sliotar. Other Nuri innovations include the indoor hurling range, Nuri Gaelic football gloves and indoor Gaelic football.
Nuri is now owned by Colin O’Hanlon and the company has developed and grown over the years. The product range has increased with demand to include training equipment and a full range of team kits, leisurewear and accessories.
We are focused on continuing to supply our customers with innovative quality products which are value for money.
